Daily Wellness Hacks
By now we’re all over COVID aka the World Pandemic!! Well I’ll speak for myself-I’m over it 😉 however, what I learned over the last year was how fast things shifted and I had to rely on my personal skills to help keep me and my family occupied without going insane from being around each other day in and day out without a real outlet. Here’s some of my hacks on improving our wellness lifestyles I learned and experienced over the last year that I wish to share with you and your family:
- Health is wealth…so getting serious about your daily diet is a must. When we eat more gut friendly, balanced meals filled with, gut friendly it fuels our bodies and allows us to have adequate energy, be more focus driven and strengthen our immune systems to prevent colds
- Hydration is essential to our bodies working properly especially our brains. When our bodies are dehydrated, it will affect its functions like hormones becoming out of whack, poor blood flow, tensed muscles and ultimately our brains experiences weakness from the water loss. All these malfunctions lead to Anxiety and being able to manage our stress levels and anxiety is a sure way to improve our overall wellness of our bodies and lifestyles.
- Finding quiet time each day to sit still and reflect is essential, although with our daily life routines it may seem impossible but being able to set aside 10 minutes can do wonders especially if you can start in the morning. Try subscribing to a meditating app such as Calm, Headspace, Stop, Breath & Think, Smiling Mind or Insight Timer to name a few and incorporate using these apps daily by setting time aside to listen and or participate with the various meditation and breathing exercises introduced by these apps. Your future self will thank you later
- The most important practice that helps with daily wellness is PRAYER. Having a connection to our creator is the ultimate relationship one can have.
Remember when trying to incorporate new habits to change your lifestyles, it will start with your mindset and the commitment to find what works for you and your family and execute one change at a time. Enjoy the journey to improving your wellness lifestyle.
